my first roti~

while he's still sleeping (for his morning nap)..ibu nk share my experience first time buat roti..orang lain buat roti plain2 je time nk blaja meroti. but i was daring enough to try this one. giler..i like healthy challenge. some more if it smell good.hehehe
nk perap sampai dia naik 2x ganda
lama okkeyy nk sampai ke stage ni...ibu start sukatan2 pukul 11am..masukkan ingredients sumer dlm breadmaker..dan buat doh.. kat situ je dh abis almost 2hours. then kuarkan doh, bahagi dua.. uli2 tumbuk2..satu campur serbuk koko dan kismis.. satu lagi plain.. then biarkan dia kembang about 1 hour gak tu..
ibu nk cepat, jemur kt luar balkoni. hahaha..bijak sungguh. wrap elok2 ngan plastic wrap and letak tmpat teduh luar balkoni. mmg berkesan lagi2 time summer ni. elok je dia naik. hehe
dah tu, uli doh lagi skali, then lapis coklat n plain..gulung2, dan potong serta bulatkan..
then masuk dlm bekas utk bakar.
biarkan lagi 1 jam..lama nye weh..
selepas 1 jam di jemur kat luar... ready utk oven
kita gliss sket ngan telur supaya rupa macam yg kedai buat. hihihi
arahan utk bakar dlm pre-heated oven 180deg C 25-30min.. so 25min ke.. 30min? ibu tekan 30min.konon terer sbb assumed my roti ni besar2.. hehe
dan hasilnya....
hahahaha... hm, i shud picit 25min je kan?
tp takpe..tu rupa semata2..look can be deceiving.ceh. rasenya????
mmg tidak mengecewakan! gebus dan smoothhhh....
worth the while spent on making this bread. kul 4.30pm baru siap tau! almost half of the day...giler...mujur jadi.kalo tak jadi? mau tutup dapur seminggu cenggini...
nama manja dia roti marble coklat berkismis. rupa asal dia bole tgk sini. jangan tanye apsal roti ibu jauuh beza rupa ngan yg sifu punya, okehh??!  since cuma ade yis je, takde bread improver or bread softener...ibu guna method campur water roux. bole blaja dari banyak tempat. ibu learnt here. :D

tgh dok syok prepare dinner while roti dibakar dlm oven, guess what happened to The Little Guy??
fall asleeps masa tgh main, again.. tangan still sangkut tuh..hahaha
okeh la.
nk layan CSI ler kejap sambil2 makan minum tunggu baju siap spin ni. ;)

BF supplement dan breakfast sushi

salam hari rabu.

saje nk tayang my supplements utk bantu BF..since im relactation..still ade ups and downs.tak penah rase tertekan sgt sbb im SAHM. bole pulun berusaha ngan The Little Guy. cuma masalah kesan ubat yg penah amik sbb operation kt chest mmg memberi efek utk relaktasi.huhuhu


umi, if you read this...my alfalfa stock dah tinggal ciput. yg takde dlm gambar is ESP dan PD -performance drink. persediaan utk puasa ni...tunggu parcel sampai jepun.hee..
utk sape2 yg teringin nk tau lebih lanjut pasal all those supplement and their benefit bole refer blog umi my sister ni FTWM ..tp superb sbb fully bf all her kids ..and i meant it gals, superb...all 8 of them! ;) bravo bravo..

bekas ubat tu ibu guna utk segregate all the pill needed for a week. ibu ni kekadang lupa or leka.so dh letak dlm bekas camni senang nk monitor dh makan ke belum. ;)
tho ibu tak bole 100% bf tp tak ralat sbb im doing my best. the rest ibu serahkan padaNya utk tentukan byk mane rezki yg kami layak dpt. and altho ibu n papa tak belikan The Little Guy the best designer pants and shirts..we do try giving him the best for his mind and growth - mother's milk. and yes mmg kami berhabis utk proses bf ibu. terima kasih papa. you are my strength in this relactation journey..
sentiasa support watever it takes so ibu can bf his kid(s). hehe.
if keluar jln2 pn still dia encourage ibu utk jgn malu, bf je.. "abg tlg tgkkan".. means he will cover me while im nursing. kdg2 sambil berjalan pn ibu bole bf tau. tak caye?
in a full-packed yokohama subway station..punya laju depa ni jalan, gmbr pun jd blurry..
people thot i'm just carrying my sleeping boy! hehe
but that's at <7kg.. bole ler nk sling carrier.. now he weigh at 7.8kg...agak2 ler.currently surveying for another better carrier. aiming on Ergo Performance.. again, tq papa! (^_^)v

aaah..lately panjang plak ibu menulis. slalu more pics than words, kan? skali skala layan menaip time The Little Guy nap best gak.
utk breakfast pagi ni, jiran ade bagi roti burger. wah! dia dh berjaya buat roti burger la..siap penuh ngan bijan lagi.. ecece..kena buat gak ni. hehe.. tq! sedap mcm burger M*D lah..
siap plastic wrap..ade filet ayam goreng.sejibik macam twister kF* hehe..
utk bento papa, ibu buat kan futomaki sushi (tapi inti nya cuma tamago yaki + timun + mayonis) dan onigiri (inti nya ayam dan telur).
california roll tak buat, sbb tu kena guna bamboo mat utk roll, baru jadi. later la...
hmm..murah, bersih dan terjamin sedap. ekekeke...

bento papa.. yer, ibu tau onigiri nyer tak cun. (>_~)

belen.. utk my tummy. cicah kicap syouyu..zappp licin! hehe
ayam chunky tu ade byk lebih..nk buat oyakodon utk ibu lunch nnt. oyakodon = japanese chicken and egg rice bowl. cara2 bole tanya makcik youtube or refer kat sini.
japanese meal is waayyy too simple, i like.. lagipun bahan2 mudah dan senang didapati. dan lagi pun, its healthy and delicious.

okonomiyaki

okonomiyaki, or dikenali sbg japanese assorted pancake is quite famous here.. ikut suka kita nk letak ape ekceli. isi ikan, seafood, daging salai, egg, and the list is endless. tp selalunya org letak assorted seafood or bacon or daging keping ler..
berasal dari Osaka, resepi nya bole didapati (versi segera) utk di buat sendiri..
jom tgk cara kami buat.. ;)

ada 2 peket kt dlm tu..ni pakej utk org 1st timer mcm ibu.. hehe
tepung etc semua dh disukat, tunggu nk dibancuh aje.
arahan yg lengkap
tak susah ati pun if tak bole baca ape yg dia tulis.sbb jepun terkenal ngan instruction ber-ilustrasi-nya. memang mudah.hahaha.. ikut je..
rupa bahan2 sebelum digaul sebati
bahan2 agak mudah didapati..cuma since tak kenal rupa yamaimo (keladi gunung?) yg diparut utk menghasilkan sticky paste..so yg pek2 macam ni memang membantu. kira tak ler kecewa, konfem jadi.
satu lagi jenis, ni tepung semata2..bahan2 kena cari sendiri..
hasil yg pertama..agak tebal..lenkali buat lebih nipis, lebih sedap.
aritu dpt 2 keping besar (sebesar pinggan mkn)..so sorang dpt sekeping.kenyang! dgn letak daging ikan salai lagi..mmg full.alhamdulillah!
sos okonomiyaki semua tak halal, so terpaksa kreatif buat gravy sendiri guna resepi yg mcm2 ade kt internet ..
sapu sos gravy/bbq.. then mayonis, bonito flakes, and menda hijau yg dh lupa apenamanya.... hihi

sedap dimakan panas-panas ...wooo...

injection dan japan customer service

tak la nk memuji muja sangat sesuatu bangsa, but honestly ibu sgt impressed dgn budaya dan tatasusila org kt sini..sejak dtg sini, a few times ikut papa selesaikan document..byk contoh customer service yg excellent yg tak dpt dielak mesti dipuji..
dlm hati selalu berdoa, berharap..'kalau la diorang ni org islam..bagusnya'..

hari hujan...nk pegi klinik kanak2..
contohnya; masa kt Ward Office (pejabat pendaftaran)..pegawai yg bertugas di kaunter akan tekan nombor angka giliran dan berdiri sambil ckp something (sori tak paham)..tp mcm menjemput customer yg pegang no tu utk tampil ler lebih kurang. bila ade org bergerak, diorang detect and terus senyum dan tunggu org tersebut sampai ke meja mereka..dah sampai trus pegawai tu tunduk hormat selamat (ucapan) dan tangan mempersilakan customer duduk. senyum tak lekang yer. selesai urusan, sekali lagi mereka akan bangun dan tunduk hormat pada customer dan ucapkan terima kasih! arigatou gozaimasu..disertakan senyuman..
kat Malaysia tak jumpa lagi kot pegawai mcm ni.muka berat ade..
bagi mereka di sini, customer umpama tuhan. layan betul2 punya. senyum dan tunduk hormat sentiasa.
tu belum citer yg kt shopping mall lagi. aiyoo..betul2 "teruja" dgn budaya sebegini..wonderful isn't it?

ok2, kt klinik plak.. since papa can converse in nihongo so mmg takde mslh language la.
but of course ibu sentiasa memerhatikan..learning thru observation. nurse takde lah lebih or kurang pada customer layanan sama rata. nurse akan panggil nama anak dan tunggu depan pintu sampai kita masuk dan beri tunduk hormat. kita secara automatik akan rase hormat pada dia juga, kan? dan terus kita senyum dan tunduk pada dia juga.

lengan hero lepas kena injek..hero sbb tak nanges pun! ;)
doctor memang sempoi, sampai ibu ter-tanya "ni ker doctor?" hahaha..sbb nurse sumer beruniform dan berapron. skali masuk doktor alamak stylo gitu. gelak2 dia tgk muka ibu terpinga kot. hehe
pandai dia buat sampai The Little Guy tak sedar pun dia kena injek.
kat sini tak penah buat 6serangkai like what we had in hometown. so masalah budak demam lepas kena injek almost non-existent. bagus2.. tp selang seminggu kena dtg lagi for 2nd dose. hehe
ubat and injek tak kena bayar sbb covered by insurance, but funny thing is that 'botol' ubat kita kena bayar.. ni kes2 nk go for green environment la ni. so if byr ade la dlm 90yen..
haluu..haluuu... eh, halu ke..makan tuh??!
ngan kakak Nuha yg dtg injek juga, dia 18bulan.. ;)
tp skali tgk dh sama size je diorang ni..;)
katun Anpanman is everywhere~ ni klinik punya..
muka tak puas ati tgk kami makan.. haha..sabar2..balik umah kita makan yer..?
balik dari klinik, singgah ke Apita beli brg2 dapur.
sekotak air 110yen..about RM4..hmmm..hehe
design straw yg ekonomik
straw pun design kecik..mmg la budaya kt sini meng-optimize kan segala2nya, including their drinks!!

lastly, nk tayang gambar dinner yg dh lama habis. sbb ni citer dh basi kan...
pasta cheesy + ayam madu sticky + papadom + sayur2..

Father's Day treat

salam hari isnin...
hari ni (sbnrnya mlm tadi) buat moist choc cake..sbbnya baru jumpa heavy cream yg bole di mkn (without emulsifier)..so bila post kt fb ramai kwn2 nk resepi. im so happy to share with them.
the original recipe is from here. If only ibu terbaca resepi ni awal2, mesti bole buat utk father's day aritu. sungguhler simpler.
meh nk tayang hasil nya..sepotong je lah utk tatapan kekawan..
terliur kan? 
Hari sabtu 18th keluar pegi inject The Little Guy utk 6months old. nnt nk story sket pasal cerita injection tu ..
So on 19th the Father's Day, ibu n papa tak ke mana2. susah gak nk buat surprise, sbb sumer yg kita beli dia tau. (issshh!)..
so this year ibu plan nk buat masak2 je lah, ape lagi kn..?
pagi2 kita dh buat special treat, crepe for breakfast.
crepe...ade 3 perisa..

if buat utk minum petang, best bole letak aiskrim.. ;)
then sambil2 papa letak main2 ngan The Little Guy, ibu start buat Molten Cake. buat in remekin size sbb its serveable right away after masak..lagi pun dia je yg hantu coklat..so kita spoil kan papa sket hari tu.
tak byk, buat 5pcs je. satu tu ibu punya, mixed ngan cherry.. sedap weh..
kalau ikut sifu, surface patutnya smooth je..ni berlubang plak..sbb nutella kot?
ibu tak suka guna bittersweet choc as suggested, instead ibu guna cocoa powder + nutella. mungkin itu sbb dia tak smooth surface as shown. tu la, pandai2 derhaka. but rase shud be tak jauh beza, rupa je la agak out. hahaha..
yg penting, papa suka!!
Semoga papa terus sukses dlm pelajaran, dan bahagia bersama kami. Moga Allah permudahkan perjalanan studi papa..amiinn..

cheesy chicken pot pie

sabtu yg agak mendung.
i was thinking something cheesy to eat for lunch. weird huh? well mmg... ;p
i browse on Kitchen Simplicity, and voila! i found a good one (recipe, i mean)... ok, jom masuk dapur..
*mane ade pintu pun dapur ngan ruang tamu umah kami ni... hehehe

sauted chicken ngan fresh broccoli and asparagus
since nk balance kan meal ni, masukkan sket sayur2. papa liat sket makan sayur segar spt salad..thus ibu kena kreatif since i know he's crazy on anything with cheese.. ;)
kasi penuh sayur..
ya..kita tekan2 sayur biar dia lemass..
ni ibu dh poured the cheese sauce over the chicken and vege.
next kena prepare topping plak..i was thinking to use biskut oreo (wahaha, lawak2)..nnt tak cantik ler plak sbb oreo itam, tak nmpak ler cheesy yg golden tu, right?
i use this instead.. boleh laa..hancur2kn sket..tambah cheese (lagi)..and some fresh milk
biscuit topping ready! cukup2 je moistened jgn tlalu cair
then, ape lg..panaskan oven dan spread the topping thinly over the mixture..
kita tunggu dia masak yerr..
bekas casserole kami kecik..cukupla utk berdua punya perut..')
siap melimpah ruah gitu..sbb cheese sauce terlebih.hehe..
bake at 200deg C for 25 min or until topping is golden...

aaaaaahhh the smell hmmm enak...make me hungryyy...
simply marvelous! cubalah~
 note: moral jgn terlalu penuh casserole tu..sbb kuah akan a bit melimpah. haha takpe..janji rasa masyukk..

this is my main meal.. inspired (again) by Kitchen Simplicity..

takde tacos..paratha pun berguna juga. hehe
this is the reason im thinking for something cheesy selepas main course yg pedas dan soury..i need that cheese! the main dish is a variation from original recipe of Grilled Fish Tacos with Fresh Salsa.. ibu modified level 3... ikan ganti ngan ayam. calapeno (gapo tuh) ganti ngan cili padi, tacos ganti ngan plain paratha, and instead of grilled the fish, ibu sauted the marinated chicken. hasilnya?? rasa macam di Mexico..hiiiiyaarhh.. hahaha.. the salsa first time buat cara ni, sedap guna lemon juice sbb lime tarak..
alhamdulillah..syukur padaNya memberi nikmat..

entry Gyoza, untuk umi

salam...
hari ni NAF selsema..dari mlm tadi dia tak selesa, takle tido lena. kejap2 jaga nk nenen..
sementara tunggu pukul 2.30pm nk pegi klinik ..bole update janji entry utk umi yg nk resepi gyoza.
sini kena call dulu..walaupun utk check camtu, papa call and this morning klinik is full (the one nearby our house, dkt ngan eki hiyoshi...)...

resepi gyoza ni diceduk dari rancangan Cooking with the Dog..japanese yg di englishkan. hehe.. Dog tu sebagai penyeri sebelah tukang masak dia je..
kulit gyoza as mentioned earlier, takde yg halal (so far tak jumpa) ..sbb mostly mmg letak sake.so, ibu dah melayu-kan guna kulit popiah order from online stor..halal punya..

*inti*
200g isi ayam (minced) - ibu guna daging cincang je
100g isi udang (minced) - tak letak, sbb ayam cukup kot
1sdm daun kucai
kubis bulat secukup rase -jgn byk sgt.pandai2 ler..
2pcs shiitake mushroom
some garlic and ginger - blend halus *ni ibu tambah
2 sdm oyster sauce *ni ibu tambah
1 1/2 sdm kicap cair - ibu guna syouyu
1 1/4 sdk garam
1/4 sdk gula
1/2 sdk minyak bijan *tak letak pon
some lada sulah
1 sdt tepung jagung
minyak masak + sedikit air utk masak

*cara*
1. campur semua bahan inti. sayur2 semua kena cincang halus yer. .. perap in fridge about 30min
2. masuk 1 sudu inti tgh2 kulit, letak air sekeliling kulit dan kepil or kelim..tekan2 skit supaya konfem kulit tu lekat and tak terbuka
3. cara kelim bole cari kat youtube. search for 'how to make gyoza'.
4. utk masak: guna kuali leper, better non-stick.masuk 1 sdm minyak masak, susun gyoza tp jgn rapat sgt hingga terlalu penuh..
5. on high heat, biarkan bawah gyoza sedikit perang, then on low heat masuk kan sedikit air sekeliling (sedikit as a few sudu di sekitar kuali) then tutup kuali utk masak secara steaming.
6. 6-8 min steaming..
7. siap!! dip with preferred sauce.. kami makan bersama kicap cair + gula  yg dipanaskan..

note:
kulit popiah yg besar, lipat 4 dan gunting bulat utk 4 keping kulit gyoza.

Pizza!

after quite sometime tinggalkan blog sbb template baru bengong *tarak mood*..arini baru bkobar2 nk menitip coretan kt sini semula. cewaahh..

nk mula yg mane dulu pn tak tau..kna wat draft lak. sbb taknak missed out things yg mmg nk coret as kenangan.
tp of course ler semua citer dah basi..makanan dah selamat jadi baja.. haha

jap lagi nk buat entry utk resepi gyoza, request umi. for now nk update citer yg sedang berlaku: pizza!!

sejak beli bread maker (BM)..dh almost 2 weeks, ni baru ade keyakinan nk test.
stakat ni, ni je yg paling murah kami jumpa Y5980.. okeh ler tu for beginner and for us.. ;)
another reason lambat start suh BM bekerja sbb amik masa utk translate (papa ler, sape lagi)... term2 cooking nyer lagi..buat papa confuse, and ibu kena main teka2 plak... adeh..e.g: nihongo tulis: strong flour. ibu guess: high protein flour a.k.a tepung roti.
ade mcm2 lagi term.. antara yg menarik, nihongo: base. ibu guess: doh..
thus, you can imagine how slow we proceed with the rest of the manual. such a pain on my neck! *jgn curse di sini yer*

topping: cheese + capsicum + sosej .. simple je
view lagi..excited biaselahh first timee..hee
besar..utk peserta.. ;)
shedap2.. puji hasil kitorang buat. ;p
ok nilah hasil bermain tepung pertama. in my life...!
i mean in terms of meroti dan memiza, ni la pertama kali ok.. tu belum citer doh pertama buat (completely trial n error) went wrong and completely wasted. cair doh ...ape kes??
hasil doh (eventually pizza) ni hasil joint venture ngan my jiran merangkap kekawan di perantauan ni..aliah..bila dh went wrong mujur another kawan jue come to the rescue...mmg tak bleh blaja takde sifu. konfem sesat. haha, mcm terkena diri sendiri.
anyway, after about 4hrs (punya la lama).. dapat ler sekeping doh.. mengubat hati yg hampir sayu tgk bahan terbuang.bukan suka2 murah bole campak bagi tong ..

anyway lagi, its such a great time learning by trial n error.
with the accompanying kids, making such a chaos in my house..its a wonderful, fruitful event. can i say that ah? hehe

arini rajin plak aku menulis.

oooh..
ni bermain solo punya hasil..
utk lunch sendiri (papa ade urusan).. style thin crust, and i add oregano for the base.ade rase sedap lagi kat base dia..
sausage and sweet corn..quite OK combo for topping
nampak je cam besar..but it is small..18cm..

yg paling haru..naufal main2 kt lantai ni, kami main cak2 jap. then bila ibu bz buat topping etc suasana senyap..tgk2 la haai...anak ibu dah ter-tido..all by himself.
he sure is a good kid, knowing when ibu is bz and when ibu is not bz (berinternet)..kalo i dpn laptop...menjerit2 ler minta ditidurkan.. cepat2 i amikkan his blanket and cover him. tido la yer.....
hisap ibu jari utk tido..cian... ;)
